So finding criticisms were not a problem, but finding background sources on John Updike was very time consuming and annoying. He did not have much information to share with anyone. Background sources should be easy to find, but nope Updike managed to make it a challenging process. As a thank you to him taking up all my time I am presenting a picture of him in Pensilvania, which was where the novel took place, to display to the world personal information of him and represent I found the precious background sources.
